I'm getting it on PC as well but when is it coming out?

Have to agree with CloseSecond, with the world pretty much taken over by the Chimera, how is it that Capelli is able accomplish a task which, (the game insists multiple times) is impossible, and do it by himself? I'm sorry but Resistance:FOM still by far had the best story and campaign.

Yeah they really should allow for templates that allow for all time of day settings and weather option. But I'm sure they're already hard at work on that.

@montyburns000 you're right, 5 (not six btw) is still too much time for what GT5 turned out to be. I will say however, that PD has all the features set in place, they just need to expand on it. Weather, day/night cycling, track editoring, rally/nascar/drift racing, among other things. If they fully fleshed out each of these elements, GT5 could have been so much more. Imagine if all tracks supported all applicable weather effects and times of day, if there was a fully fledged out track edi...

Uhhh, kinda a bit off topic but, the guys at turn 10 apparently didn't know that the Ferrari 330 P4 has its shifter to the right of the driver. They probably assumed it was to the left since the driver sits to the right, but in simulations you can't make those types of assumptions.

@Logicwins There have thus far been multiple perfect or very high scores from various reviewers. As such, it's looking more and more likely that Batman:AC will be GOTY, or if not, at least a serious contender.

That's his point.

GT5 Prologue was available a full TWO AND A HALF YEARS before GT5 was released. It was to provide a taste for GT fans for enduring the long wait, but was simply too small to be considered simply a demo. Actually, there was also free content given out in GT5:P in the form of a...drum roll please... Spec 2.0 update!! The update added over 40+ cars, infrastructure fixes and a few physics improvements. In fact, they added ANOTHER free update, which coincided with the announcement of Ferrari's...

Nice. I won't be able to try it out till I'm back home in December, but my biggest gripe was the lack of G27 support. I can't wait!

It'd be very difficult, at least in terms of how the fighting mechanics would actually work. I'd love to see a crossover; Tekken and VF are my two favorite fighting series (though I do prefer Tekken over VF slightly because it's more fun to play). But anyone who's played both would know that the two games play near completely opposite to another.

For those who haven't played both, I couldn't even use an analogy comparing say, Battlefield to Halo, as e...

Now these shots look excellent. Why doesn't the multiplayer look this good?

how long is the delay?

Even today, it's still impossible with even top-of-the-line cards to max this game out at 60 frames. The game is just not very well optimized. But on the flip side, the more you throw at Crysis, the better Crysis will look and run, even to this day.

Take note developers, THIS is how you do downloadable content. Not selling "extra" content, half the time of which could have been available since release, and not putting a price on every little piece of content distributed. Glad to see Polyphony digital showing continuous support for the fanbase, and addressing their concerns to the fans' benefit, not theirs.

HAHA I was thinking the same thing! FINALLY!!!!

I just ordered it and it came to $51 total. How is that expensive?

5247d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I just ordered this using the Promo, and the total came to around 51.30 with tax. I live in northern New Jersey, and their warehouse is only a few towns over, so I almost always get parts/games from NewEgg within a day. If the release-day shipping really matters to you, then stick with amazon, as same day shipping on Newegg will run about $11.

If you know for a fact that 1) There's a Newegg warehouse near you or 2) You don't care if you don't get it that same day...

Keep in mind this isn't running in DX11, only DX9 is available in the beta

What I don't understand, is that if Crytek is touting this is as the remastered, optimized, and hence definitive version of Crysis, why aren't PC gamers getting it? I'm happy more people will get to experience the series (and hopefully not just see the first as solely a technical achievement) but Crytek could have went back and added DX11 features, as well as optimized it for modern PC's. Even today, the best video cards STILL cannot run this game at a constant 60 fps. (Not ki...

You mention that you are new to PC gaming, but you seriously went overboard on the parts. Please tell me that you're not just building this PC for gaming but also for Music, 3D/CAD rendering, physics processing of some sort? I know for a fact the GTX 590 is $750+ right now.

I don't know who told you the GTX 570 would only give you medium to high settings; the GTX 570 is one of Nvidia's top of the line GPU's; it can play nearly anything at the highest spec, BF...
